Overview
As individuals move through their career paths, they become aware of the skills and processes to use. Awareness is the first part, however consolidation in the workplace is the key!
Organisations strive to achieve more, putting pressure on the work-life balance, which if mismanaged can have a negative impact on the performance of the individual and subsequently the company.
There are strong links between well being and effective performance.
Our Approach
The focus is on skills that have been developed through training/coaching, which are being only part-used or completely unused through the lack of consolidation.
This is not a training programme, it is a different approach to achieving more through using less by effective use of current skills awareness.
Objectives for the session(s) may include:
• increasing performance in terms of personal output and motivational leadership
• achieving potential
• a more holistic approach to the work life balance
The style of any session will be to focus on utilisation of current skills and sharing best practice within groups in order to take the re-learning straight back into the workplace.
When developing, individuals work through a number of stages.
Unconscious Incompetence

Conscious Incompetence
Conscious Competence

Unconscious Competence
Following any form of development we achieve a state of conscious competence but in many cases, because of lack of practice, revert back to unconscious incompetence. Here we focus on short circuiting the process straight back to conscious incompetence, with a plan in place to move to stage four.
Individual objectives will be agreed to fully measure the benefits of achieving competence, both business and personal.
This can be supported by the Emotional Intelligence Individual Effectiveness Diagnostic Tool .
Example Options
Individuals will be encouraged to share best practice and learn from others with a clear plan to act on actions and report back.
The objectives will be achieved through:
Group session(s)
• sharing successes/challenges
• developing base skills
• commitment to a plan
Review session(s)
• feedback on outcomes
• focus on business and personal benefits (increased revenue cost/time savings, levels of personal control)
